Drake Donates $1 Million in his new God’s Plan Video

If you didn’t like Drake already, watch his new music video for God’s Plan and you might just change your mind. This new video clearly shows that Drake is on the road to becoming the most-loved rapper in hip-hop music.

God’s Plan was released earlier this month alongside his second newest single, Diplomatic Immunity. The single continues to sit within the top ranks of Billboard’s Hot 100, now currently at the number one spot.

“The budget for this video was $996,631.90. We gave it all away. Don’t tell the label.”

This message is shown to viewers at the video’s start. Throughout the video, the rapper is seen giving literal stacks of cash to families in need and scholarship donations to students at both Miami High School and the University of Miami. The artist also gifted each student at the high school with OVO gear, reports Billboard. Drake even allowed some of the students to be featured in the video; debatably one of the most heartfelt and energetic moments in the entire video.

The OVO rapper called the project “…the most important thing I have ever done in my career,” in a post on Instagram.
